THICKET RESOURCING
FINDING YOUR CALM IN THE STORM
What does resourcing feel like?
Resourcing feels like coming home to yourself—it’s a deep exhale, a sense of being held, and the quiet knowing that you have what you need. It’s like sinking into a warm bath after a long day, feeling the sun on your skin, or standing barefoot on the earth, fully present. And it allows you to move with ease again, feeling in synch with yourself and the world. To reconnect with inspiration and purpose. To remember your strength. A resourced body and mind offers you a clear mind and spaciousness. It’s like a deep sigh of relief.
We all need it.
To reconnect with what sustains us, our communities, and the planet.
Thicket Resourcing fosters a supportive community where individuals can cultivate resilience and connection. We developed the Thicket Level I course to guide participants in deepening their relationship with the more-than-human world and building essential resilience skills for these challenging times. While many have found the course transformative, we've also heard from those who, amidst life's demands, require more foundational support. Recognizing this need, we've created a preparatory course designed to prioritize personal and professional replenishment through enriching, supportive practices that can be shared in your own communities.

This four-week program is designed for medical providers, educators, activists, researchers, therapists, public servants, and others navigating these uncertain times. For the ones who need a moment to pause. To reconnect with themselves. Thicket Resourcing offers a practical and accessible pathway to emotional resilience by integrating our core pillars—contemplative practice, insightful teachings/writings, immersive nature journeys, and supportive community.
Each week, you'll receive carefully curated resources: a contemplative practice, a relevant teaching/writing, and a guided nature journey, all designed to be manageable and impactful. We encourage you to engage with these practices and integrate what resonates.
Weekly live Zoom sessions will allow for deeper reflection and understanding through breakout group discussions and collective sharing.
Drawing from the positive feedback of our Thicket Level I course, we anticipate that this cohort experience will support you in finding your ground and (re-)connect with practices that support your well-being.
This program is for you if:
-You always wanted to integrate more mindfulness and nature-based practices into your life
-If you have taken Thicket Level I and want to reconnect with similar practices and be in a cohort of like-minded people again
-If Thicket level I is appealing to you, but you have not had much experience with resourcing yourself through contemplative practices and intentional nature connections
- If you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders and you just need a little pause to regroup yourself

“The only way we have of influencing the future is to own the present, however we find it. If we turn away from the present moment, we lose contact with our actual life and end up lost in the swirl of our own habitual reactivity and forgetfulness.”
— Jon Kabbat-Zin. Full Catastrophe Living
