TEDDY KELLAM, M.Ed, RTC
Teddy (she/her) works at the intersection of climate and mental health. As an experienced Good Grief Network facilitator certified in Climate Psychology and a registered therapeutic counselor, she offers climate-focused workshops, presentations, groups and climate-aware individual therapy - all oriented to connection and resilience. In these times of great turmoil, Teddy has become fascinated with how we build the inner capacity to show up as the people we want to be for our families, communities, and our dear planet.
Her work is informed by climate emotions theory (Good Grief Network, Work That Reconnects, CIIS Climate Psychology), Transpersonal Psychology, Somatic Experiencing for trauma, Kaira Jewel Lingo’s contemplative practices, the decolonization movement, Francis Weller’s grief teachings, caregiving and parenting.
Teddy facilitates workshops on Helping Kids Build Resilience in Chaotic Times, and Building Your Capacity: Cultivating Resilience in the Age of Climate Crisis - for parents, educators, climate advocates, caring professionals and other individuals who wish to sustain their good work in the world. She blends climate psychology, somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, guided reflection, social justice themes and emotional processing into heart-centered and enjoyable experiences that inspire and foster resilience-building.
Teddy is honored to be a part of the Climate Emotional Resilience Institute.
