A Climate Café is a welcoming, facilitated gathering where people come together to share and explore the emotional impacts of climate change. Rather than focusing on solutions or debate, a Climate Café creates space for honest conversation about feelings like grief, anxiety, anger, guilt, and love for the living world. Through gentle structure, small-group dialogue, and deep listening, participants are invited to speak from personal experience and be met with care and respect.
Climate Cafés are grounded in the understanding that climate distress is a healthy response to a real and unfolding crisis and that we are not meant to carry it alone. By slowing down and listening together, participants often experience relief, connection, and renewed capacity to stay engaged with what matters most.
These gatherings are open to people from all backgrounds and levels of climate knowledge. You do not need to be an activist, expert, or “have it together.” Just bring your honest presence.
